“Nurturing Healthy Minds, Building Brighter Futures”
A highly impactful Capacity Building Program for Teachers on “Promoting Mental Health and Wellness Among Students” was successfully organized at Innocent Hearts School, Cantt Jandiala Road, Jalandhar. The program aimed to raise awareness about student mental health, while equipping educators with practical strategies to support students’ emotional and psychological well-being.
The session was conducted under the expert guidance of esteemed resource persons Ms. Paramjeet Kaur Dhillon, Director, Kamla Nehru School, Phagwara, and Ms. Sonali Bathla, PGT, Swami Sant Dass Public School, Jalandhar. Their insightful sessions highlighted the growing importance of mental wellness in education and emphasized the crucial role teachers play in creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
The program covered essential topics including stress management, emotional balance, effective classroom communication, identifying signs of anxiety and emotional challenges, and building resilience and confidence among students. Through interactive discussions, practical activities, and real-life case studies, teachers actively participated and gained valuable tools to foster students’ emotional growth.
