Innovation Hub-Product Design Workshop

On February 20, 2025, the Innovation Hub organized a Basics of Product Design workshop for members of the Innovation Hub from Innocent Hearts School, Kapurthala Road Branch. The workshop introduced students to essential part modeling features in Onshape, including Sketch, Extrude, Fillet, and Pattern. They learned the fundamentals of product design and how to create and modify 3D models.
A special hands-on 3D printing activity was included, allowing students to transform their digital designs into physical objects. This practical experience helped them understand the real-world applications of 3D modeling and manufacturing.
The interactive session aimed to enhance students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge. By working on different design exercises, they developed a deeper understanding of product development. The workshop encouraged innovation and provided a strong foundation for students interested in design and engineering, inspiring them to explore future possibilities in technology and manufacturing.
