A Cheque To Surjit Hockey Society

 Dr Anup Bowry and Dr Chander Bowry of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Jalandhar and Innocent Hearts Group presented a cheque to Surjit Hockey Society.

Today this cheque was presented to Mr Jaspreet Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar & President Surjit Hockey Society by Dr Anup Bowry. Dr Anup Bowry said on this occasion that the efforts being made by the Surjit Hockey Society for the development of hockey are highly commendable. He also admired the work being done to connect the children with hockey from the very beginning, for the development of the game in the academy run by the society. Dr Bowry announced that Innocent Hearts School will form junior women's hockey team from the next session so that girls can get more opportunities to play hockey.
On this occasion, the President of Surjit Hockey Society, IAS, Mr. Jaspreet Singh thanked Dr Bowry and said that Innocent Hearts Group has always contributed to the development of hockey and sports. He said that while this group is making valuable contributions in uplifting the level of education and all-round development of the children, now with the announcement of the formation of the junior women's hockey team in their schools the group, girls get a big chance to join hockey. Deputy Commissioner Mr. Jaspreet Singh said that the assistance given by Dr Bowry will help the young players a lot and it is expected that in future also they will continue to contribute to the development of hockey. Eminent sports promoter Mr. Surinder Singh Bhapa was also present with him on this occasion.
